Dry ice cleaning has been approved by the EPA, FDA and USDA as an acceptable cleaning method and is safe to use with food processing equipment. Upon Contact, dry ice will kill bacteria, mold, mildew, fungus, etc… while reducing moisture thus inhibiting future growth and development. The dry ice cleaning process does not release harmful gases into the atmosphere and is non toxic. The use of dry ice cleaning reduces employee exposure to (and corporate liability from) the use of dangerous cleaning agents.

Sand, soda and water blasting can leave toxic secondary waste to be cleaned up in addition to any toxic particulates removed. In addition, the use of these mediums can create downstream contamination that affects
